If you live in a country that (like Denmark) has a cross in its flag, the pattern can easily be modified by changing the colors of the flag.
The two tips of the flag are initially worked separate and in the round. When both tips are done, they are joined and the rest of the flag is worked in stockinette stitch in the round.

Yarn, gauge, and recommended needles
Since the gauge of the ornaments is not crucial, you can skip the gauge swatch and work the ornaments in any yarn and with any needle size you prefer.
Adjust your needle size to the yardage of the yarn; the thicker the yarn and the bigger the needles, the bigger your finished ornament will be. In each of the patterns I have added a small table with
different suggestions to the needle size given the yardage of the yarn.

Stuffing
The Christmas ornaments were originally designed in 2023 to be flat figures without stuffing, It was not until 2024 when I started stuffing my ornaments. You can add stuffing to the ornaments from
2023 – it is just not mentioned in the patterns.

Materials

Yarn of your choice.

Circular needles for casting on (optional).

Double-pointed needles (dpns).

Stitch markers.

Tapestry needle.

Something to hang the ornament with, such as satin ribbon.

(Stuffing to fill your ornaments with - optional)

(Embroidery) thread, pearls, ribbons, or what you want to decorate your ornament.

Relevant techniques
The video tutorials have a Danish voiceover, but YouTube has a subtitle function, where you can pick your desired language.

Invisible cast on method.
