Flag (pattern)
Description
I designed this flag to represent my home country, Denmark. If you live in a country that, like Denmark, has a cross on its flag, you can easily adapt the pattern by changing the colors.
The two pointed ends of the flag are worked separately in the round. Once both are finished, they are joined, and the rest of the flag is worked in the round in stockinette stitch.
Yarn, gauge, and recommended needles
As gauge is not critical for these ornaments, you can skip knitting a gauge swatch and use any yarn and needle size you prefer.
Choose your needle size based on the yarn's yardage (metres per gram). The thicker the yarn and the larger the needles, the larger your finished ornament will be.
Each pattern includes a small table with suggested needle sizes based on the yarn's yardage.
Stuffing
This ornament is part of my Christmas 2023 collection. The ornaments are designed to be knitted without stuffing, but you can add some if you prefer.
