Gingerbread ornaments pattern
Gingerbread ornaments, 2023
Description
This pattern includes instructions for both the gingerbread man and the gingerbread woman. The ornaments are worked top down, beginning at the head and continuing in the round in stockinette stitch.
Yarn, gauge, and recommended needles
Since the gauge of the ornaments is not crucial, you can skip the gauge swatch and work the ornaments in any yarn and with any needle size you prefer.
Adjust your needle size to the yardage of the yarn; the thicker the yarn and the bigger the needles, the bigger your finished ornament will be. In each of the patterns I have added a small table with
different suggestions to the needle size given the yardage of the yarn.
Stuffing
This ornament is a part of the series designed for Christmas 2023, the ornaments are intended to be worked without filling; however, stuffing may be added if desired.
