Christmas goose pattern
Christmas goose, 2024
About the work
The goose is knitting from the rear end and continuing through the body, neck, and head in the round using stockinette stitch. Short rows are used to shape the body. The wing(s) and foot/feet are worked separately and attached at the end.
Yarn, gauge, and recommended needles
Since the gauge of the ornaments is not crucial, you can skip the gauge swatch and work the ornaments in any yarn and with any needle size you prefer.
Adjust your needle size to the yardage of the yarn; the thicker the yarn and the bigger the needles, the bigger your finished ornament will be. In each of the patterns I have added a small table with
different suggestions to the needle size given the yardage of the yarn.
