About the work
The moon is worked from the middle of the body, then continued in two identical half-moons. To shape the moon, the pattern uses short rows to form the curve.

Yarn, gauge, and recommended needles
Since the gauge of the ornaments is not crucial, you can skip the gauge swatch and work the ornaments in any yarn and with any needle size you prefer.
Adjust your needle size to the yardage of the yarn; the thicker the yarn and the bigger the needles, the bigger your finished ornament will be. In each of the patterns I have added a small table with
different suggestions to the needle size given the yardage of the yarn.

Materials

• Yarn of your choice.
• Circular needles for casting on (optional).
• Double-pointed needles (dpns).
• Stitch markers.
• Tapestry needle.
• Something to hang the ornament with, such as satin ribbon.
• Stuffing. (suitable for washing and centrifuging)
• (Embroidery) thread, pearls, ribbons, or what you want to decorate your ornament.
